Procedure for Purchasing Artworks from bCA Galleries

All Artworks in our web site are organized by Artist and are grouped in 3 sections:

It includes all contemporary Indian artists represented by bCA Galleries in alphabetical order.

Virtual Gallery: |
It includes all artists, Indian and non-Indian, that are actively promoted by bCA Galleries, categorized per type of art or gender. In addition it includes a section for traditional and ethnic art.

Artists section: |
It includes the artists, Indian and non-Indian, that are actively promoted by bCA Galleries.
|
|
Old masters: |
It includes artworks of Indian old masters categorized per artists.

- How to buy an artwork?
Upon selection of the art work, you can place an order online by clicking on the link “Order now”. In case the selected Art Work does not display the price, please contact us either by posting an inquiry (click on “Send an inquiry”) or by sending an email to info@bcagalleries.com mentioning the artist and the art work that you would like an estimate for. We will revert to you within two working days with the details and pricing of the art work chosen by you. We will reserve the art work for you for a period of one week from the date of your enquiry, if within that period you do not revert to us, then bCA Galleries will consider other queries for that particular art work.
- How to pay for an artwork?
We agree to accept the following form of payments:
Please Note: Once an order is placed on bCA Galleries the buyer is required to make payment for the price of the artwork as well as the charges referred to above within 7 working days from the date of placing the order. In the event that bCA Galleries does not receive payment within 7 working days bCA Galleries reserves the right to cancel the order without prior notice to the buyer. The Buyer warrants that all the information furnished at the time of submission is true and correct and any change in the information provided will be updated and intimated to bCA Galleries immediately. Invoices will be generated by bCA Galleries on the basis of this information.
- Shipment modalities and charges
The artworks will be delivered/shipped to the Buyer within 15 working days, once all necessary documentation, relating to transportation, tax, etc. as may be reasonably requested for by bCA Galleries are completed and payment has been realized in full including any additional charges. We use one of the best courier companies – Fed Ex or DHL for all our requirements. Transit insurance costs will be included in such additional charges, unless specifically advised otherwise by the Buyer. In the event that the buyer chooses to himself collect the artworks from bCA Galleries he must do so within two weeks of bCA Galleries receiving the payment. In the event that the artworks are not so collected within a period of two weeks, storage and insurance costs will be applicable on the purchase, determined at the complete discretion of bCA Galleries.
- Packaging and content of the package:
The paintings are shipped not stretched or framed, to minimize the shipping costs. If you wish for this service to be provided this additional cost will be levied on your invoice. All paintings are packaged with the utmost care and precautions. We advice transit insurance for all artworks, the cost of which will be borne by the buyer.
- Guarantees:
All artworks displayed on the Website are supported by an original Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist (click here to see a sample Certificate of Authenticity), which will be delivered to the Buyer together with the art work. Please Note: bCA Galleries is not obligated to provide any physical preview of the artwork either before or after the sale.
- Refund Policy :
We have a no exchange, no refund policy. Once the payment has been received and the item delivered, bCA Galleries will consider the transaction complete and final.
- Copyright Issues:
Please note that the buyer is merely purchasing the artwork, all rights regarding the work will remain with the artist. In case the buyer wishes to publicly display the works (at an exhibition), publish the photographs or prints of the artworks for commercial or publicity material, prior permission of bCA Galleries and the artist will need to be obtained. Even scanning the artwork to publish on a website will require permission from the gallery. The gallery is free to levy an “access fee” when permission to reproduce an artwork is sought, which will be completely at the gallery’s discretion. Failure to do so would be an infringement of copyright laws applicable internationally. |
