Comments:
The contemplative nature of my work demands, necessity, considerable thought and introspection and a definite direction.
This is not to suggest that my artwork is schematic but far from it.
Ample evidence in the form of sizzling and dynamic brush-work is noticeable side by side of carefully worked out areas.
The interplay of opposites in terms of geometry and the resultant shapes in the form of rectangles.
Triangles, cylindrical forms combined to give all works a structural strength which is the most important aspect of painting. |
