Comments:
Art is believed to be a mirror of a society, an also of an artist’s self personality, which exposes his/her thoughts, emotions, imaginations and of course inner voice. Painting is also such a medium and this medium becomes a strong source for me to express myself and my thinking. As we all know that an artist is very much influenced from his/her surrounding environment, so naturally this influence is mostly seen in my paintings. In my paintings, I have used woman figure as a source to represent my emotions. Being a girl myself, it’s quite natural and easy for me to understand different shades of emotions and revolutionized wishes of a woman’s heart. A woman is likely to search herself in some social evils having double standards, in beliefs, in social-familiar relationships. But this aspect is not the only source of my creativity, but my paintings also elaborate the charming aspect of relationships and wishes of a woman’s soft emotions, strength, love, attraction and belief. I have tried to discover myself into my paintings. Emotions are such an unlimited world, which is huge, deeper than an ocean and as simpler and sanctified as sky. There is a secret in them, which anyhow gets disclosed by ever changing, new, fresh and innovative forms. To expose and explore these emotions, symbolism appears to be most lively and strong resource. Beautiful woman figures on plain and colourful base using symbolic signs and shapes impose sharper effect on a viewer’s mind. Birds, cages, blocks of unclear colours and many more… all these help a lot to express myself. And, along with this, use of textures on the background also helps me more. Subject comes up with greater visibility and sharper effect if dry brushing, knife and roller are used. I have primarily used sharp colours in all my works. Theme and subject are expressed in a clearer way by figures on dark base. Through my paintings, my efforts are on to expose various shades and forms of a woman. A woman, who is simple, beautiful, emotional, and sometimes reluctant who wants to get disappeared somewhere leaving everything. She is a dedication, an emotion, harmony who wants to shower love on all by embracing them within. Truly speaking, there are such a fantastic emotions which come across and give a true image to a woman. |
