Comments of the artist :
“Painting is nothing but a reflection of the Artists mood. His work of art is the mirror of his culture, upbringing, behaviour, etc. Everyone has to face ‘adjustments’, it may be ‘physical adjustment’ for space in the crowded local trains of Mumbai, ‘mental adjustment for understanding his own surroundings or ‘emotional adjustment’ to understand and deal with oneself.
I saw the object experienced it, and then transformed it into my form of expression. The fact is that, senses tell me its an object that belongs to the material world. They give me the knowledge of its existence.
After viewing the object, not the sensuous mind that works, it's the intellectual/ conceptual mind that works to discover its imaginary texture, feel, functioning, etc. An Artist absorbs the real world by senses and throws it out in his own imaginative and creative point of view on his canvas. It's the intellectual imagination of feel that works in creation of any work of art than the feel of the senses.” |
