“What is Art?” Art is one of the greatest ways to express our creativity, feelings, thinking and emotions. In my opinion Painting is a creative way to express “what I am? My Painting depends in my deep introspection, observation, and my views and perspective to different forms, colors, shape and images. My muse is “Nature”. The best example of creativity is none other than “Nature”. Every moment, “Nature” is creating something new, and never looks back, what has it done? It has not created a rule for itself, just finishing its previous creation then again creating something new My experience is that once I start Painting I never think what I want to create, which form I want to create and which colors I am going to apply, that means I don’t plan my painting because Painting is not planning, Painting is a way of thinking, to picture my thoughts and to create my own Painting, which is simply expressed through my painting. In our body, we have our usage space, is Brain. Consciously-Unconsciously our brain never stops, it is always thinking process, feeling every moment, stores our previous thoughts which we is our past. My view is when I work, I don’t think, as I start Painting my thoughts, observation, feelings, emotions…all of these thoughts indirectly reflect in my painting. So I just sit in front of the canvas and naturally I can see the forms, colors, thoughts and the painting takes a beautiful shape. Most of the times I paint “Portraits” up to the bust, I love “Portrait painting” because most of our expressions are mirrored on our face but I can’t paint without observing someone. That image is then stored in my mind, and I attempt getting it on my canvas. I take my own time to paint and sometimes it takes months before I create a painting. But through my “Painting” I am still searching myself. My journey is still on and I am never going to look back a single moment.
I don’t plan my painting because Painting is not planning; Painting is a way of thinking. |
